Okay, I know this update is slow in coming, but you'll have to bear with me for a bit longer, I haven't really had any grand photo sessions yet. In fact, I've only taken 3 photos since I left Houston, and here they are.
These first 2 are from posters posted at our office. A reminder of what happened 10 years ago. A little entertaining on the surface, but when you think about what it means to have land mines, live ammo and the likses spread throughout the country, it is a little frightening.
And, here's my hotel room. It's good sized, bigger than my room at home. 2 full size beds, a nice desk, sliding window, couch, tv, and nice bathroom (not pictured) Probably why it's so expensive.... 66 Kuwait Dinar per night.
So, my roommate and I went shopping today. We are working on our yard--there's Bermuda grass seed out (see green patches in the yard--not the grass, duh), hence the sprinkler and hose. We also got some other plants, a huge bag of potting soil. Some seeds that we planted including Chives, Dill, Sage, Spearmint, Thyme, some marigolds and snapdragons, some ground cover, and a few different kinds of ferns. Hopefully it'll grow.
