This was a sign posted at Boulder Park, where we went down to the beach and got to see African Penguins, warm-weather cousins of the famous Emperor Penguins. Pretty cute birds.

This is on top of Table Mountain, about 1,000 meters up (Somewhere around 3300 feet. That's about 2/3 of a mile. Mom, this one's for you. :-)

This is Cape Point, a.k.a. Cape of Good Hope, where the Indian and Atlantic Ocean meet. See that white line leading away from the point? That's the warm water of the Indian ocean and the cold water of the Atlantic mixing together.

And this is just a cool saying. I'm not sure if it comes out well, but it reads: " One of Life's Most Precious Gifts is Time"
Allright, so I was wrong about the other blog--a friend of mine told me how I could get around the server space limitation thing, so don't, repeat DON'T follow the link... it doesn't work. New pics to be posted as soon as I figure out my next step...

Allright, I have just learned that after 300 MB, I can no longer post pictures onto the Blog web page, so I must create a new one. (That's the bad news)
The good news is that I found my card reader in my suitcase, so my next two posts will be first--more pictures from Paris and second--pictures from Cape town. The address will be
BoatsToBuild.blogspot.com.

The 'Queens Chapel' I think... built to house relics brought home from the crusades. According to the brochure, the relics were worth more than twice the price of building the chapel.

Place de la Concorde. The obelisk in the foreground was brought over from Egypt and is more than 3,000 years old.

Cape Town: Two words--AWE SOME
(And I better not get any comments reminding me that it's only one word--you know who you are ) ;-)
I've decided to move down here.
On to more disappointing news, I left my memory card reader in Houston, so until I find one here or can borrow one, I'm afraid the only pictures of Cape Town you'll see are ones you find yourselves on the net.
